Opinion of The Black Prism (Brent Weeks): Entertaining begining of a series of fantastic books. Magic, colour magic, politics, pirates, war, magic dagger, unknown Father, attacked village, assassins, losing magic, magic boy, complicated family, unknown powers.. . It is worth buying.

Opinion: He lets itself be read, it's worse in my opinion than the first book.
