Review of Claimed By Shadow  (Karen Chance) / Cassandra Palmer 2:

Medium rating of Claimed By Shadow  (Karen Chance): 6.8Stars

Opinion of Claimed By Shadow  (Karen Chance): The book series continues to be entertaining. Vampires, seer, vampire politics, sorceres, vampire senate, dark mages, satyrs, witches, fae, spirits, try to survive, mafia vampires, travel to the past, discover powers, court intrigues, struggles for power, communicate with spirits, geis.. I think it's worth buying

Review of book Claimed By Shadow (Karen Chance) / Cassandra Palmer 2Clairvoyant Cassie Palmer has inherited new magical powers including the ability to travel through time. But it's a whole lot of responsibility she'd rather not have. Now she's the most popular girl in town, as an assortment of vamps, fey, and mages try to convince, force, or seduce her and her magic over to their side. But one particular master vampire didn't ask what Cassie wanted before putting a claim on her. He had a spell cast that binds her to him, and now she doesn't know if what she feels for him is real or imagined…

Karen's writing is fun and non-stop action. It's an exhilerating ride, with fascinating detail of history and forethought for the plot. Where you read something in book one, expect to have those

Claimed By Shadow (Cassandra Palmer, #2) - Smashbomb

One of my reading groups thinks Mircea is a selfish, controlling vampire. But after reading Claimed by Shadow, I have to vehemently disagree. Yeah, he put the geis on Cassie for selfish reasons, but when everything goes wrong, he’s doing his best to help her escape the Consul and do what she needs to do. Even..

Claimed by Shadow starts right after book one with Cassie fighting her newly inherited Pythia powers while trying to avoid dying at the hands of the magical community, all of which are more than eager to get their hands on a little extra magic mojo. After escaping the “all-powerful” senate (with a few…special objects in hand), Cassie begins planning to..

At this point Claimed by Shadow will let you know whether this series is for you. It's all polished up and shiny! Which, as said before, only gets better. These books are..

Claimed by Shadow is the second novel in the Cassandra Palmer series, but honestly it doesn't feel like any time has passed between one and two. Cassie is still dealing with a whole mess of problems – something she seems to have a talent for attracting. And she's learning that her situation is even more…..

Although the action in the book is often confusing, it is also very fast paced.  Cassie goes hurtling through time and dangerous situations at a heart racing pace. The battle scenes are absolutely vivid and force you to root for..

Review of Touch the Dark (Karen Chance) / Cassandra Palmer 1:

Medium rating of Touch the Dark (Karen Chance): 7Stars

Opinion of Touch the Dark (Karen Chance): Pretty entertaining book, a good start to a series. Vampires, seer, vampire politics, sorceres, vampire senate, dark mages, satyrs, witches, fae, spirits, try to survive, mafia vampires, travel to the past, discover powers, court intrigues, struggles for power, communicate with spirits, gargoyles, kidnapping.. I think it's worth buying

Cassandra Palmer can see the future and communicate with spirits talents that make her attractive to the dead and the undead. The ghosts of the dead aren't usually dangerous; they just like to talk...a lot.
Review of Touch the Dark (Karen Chance) / Cassandra Palmer 1The undead are another matter.

Like any sensible girl, Cassie tries to avoid vampires. But when the bloodsucking Mafioso she escaped three years ago finds Cassie again with vengeance on his mind, she's forced to turn to the vampire Senate for protection.

The undead senators won't help her for nothing, and Cassie finds herself working with one of their most powerful members, a dangerously seductive master vampire and the price he demands may be more than Cassie is willing to pay...
